| BBC Weather Centre | A good source - particularly for the "Shipping Forecast" and "Inshore Waters Forecast". Look also at the regional forecast maps. |
| ECMWF | The European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts gives free access to 3-6 day forecast charts. |
| Marina Developments (MDL) | MDL provide a quick at-a-glance 10 day forecast for each of the areas where they have marinas. Look at South-West, Solent, Thames or East-Coast. |
| Met Office Inshore Forecast | The classic Inshore Waters Forecast, direct from the Met Office. |
| Met Office Shipping Forecast | And the equivalent for those travelling further offshore. |
| EUMETSAT | Direct downlink of the latest meteorological satellite pictures. |
| St Vincent College | A collection of resources, including forecasts, charts, weather station reports and satellite images. |
| Top Karten | The Met Office synoptic charts are available free from this site. Easy to use if you understand German. Click the "hours" at the top to select the chart you want. |
| Mark Stronge's weather site | An excellent new compilation designed to download quickly for use with mobile internet connections. Works well on a standard PC too. From the webmaster of the Princess Owners Club. |
| X C Weather | Really an aeronautical site, but well worth a look for the wind reports and current observations. Also available on WAP phones. |
